Soundtrack to the experimental apocalyptic film by Petr Šprincl of Flesh&Brain. Inspired by the most famous hockey player of all time – Wayne Gretzky. The man in Gretzky’s jersey is awaiting the arrival of the judging day, the preparation of which is in full swing. A pre-apocalypse on the ice-stadium surrounded by oilfields.

The lonely character of the hokey player in Gretzky’s jersey (in the video he’s played by Matyáš Dlab) hopelessly wonders around abandoned buildings of Nafta a.s., which symbolizes disfunction and the „ending of career“. Revealing the „ruins“ of the perished fame of Hodonin is where we explicitly find, in the shot of a snowy surface, under which, with the swish of a hokey stick, unexpectedly reveals the tiled floor of a broken down building.

In 1999 The Great One retired. Mankind has decided that the The Great One’s signifier, the number 99 will be reserved just for him. It is forbidden to use the number 99 in any other sense than in connection with the The Great One. He was the one who gave meaning to our lives. He was the only one to manage 50 goals in 39 matches. The central committee decided that what The Great One achieved, nobody will ever exceed. Our efforts regarding our life on Earth has been accomplished. The final decision was confirmed at the meeting of Nations on September 9, 1999. Preparations for “The End” had begun that same day. The legacy The Great One left behind inspired us all to create a tribute that will last in the memories of the people for generations to come. Oil wells which are the basis of the tribute will be built across the country. The combination of drilling and subsequent research work will stop human struggling leaving the only connection to the ultimate form of human being - The Great One.

V roce 1999 ukončil Velký svou kariéru. Lidstvo se rozhodlo, že signifiant Velkého, číslo 99 bude vyhrazeno jen jemu. Je zakázáno používat čísla 99 v jakémkoliv jiném smyslu, než ve spojení s Velkým. Velký dal našemu snažení smysl. Jen on dokázal 50 ve 39. Ústřední komisí bylo rozhodnuto, že to, co dokázal Velký, již nikdo nemůže dokázat. Naše snažení, v rámci života na tomto světě, bylo dokonáno. Definitivní rozhodnutí bylo potvrzeno na setkání národů dne 9.9.1999 a od tohoto data se počaly přípravy konce. Život a odkaz, který nám po sobě Velký zanechal, nás inspirovali k největší poctě, které se mu prostřednictvím úsilí nás všech již brzy dostane. Po celé Zemi jsou budovány vrty, jež jsou základním pilířem pocty Velkému. Spojením vrtů a následnou vědeckou prací se podaří ukončit lidské snažení a zbude po nás jen odkaz na nejdokonalejší formu lidského bytí – na Velkého.
